Are any TV skincare products worth the money?

I've just seen a Proactiv + skincare advert (endorsed by Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter) and it looks good.

I am wondering if anyone has actually bought things from TV adverts and they have worked, and been worth the money (or if you have found them cheaper elsewhere)

My skin is a bit oily and I have some spots, which are mainly all under the surface IYSWIM?
