I've been recommended many fantastic products over the years by this board and I wanted to share my top ones with you, and hope you can give me your top ones back! Mine are:

  • La Roche posay effaclar duo (massively helped rid my spots)
  • Estee Lauder double wear mascara (no more panda eyes by mid morning)
  • Brazillian blow dry (thick frizzy hair much lower maintenance)

Cetaphil cleanser
Nip and fab acid toner pads
Cerave moisturiser
Collection 16hr foundation
Loreal tubing mascara-amazing!
A sort of upside down blow dry. Someone posted a video of this on a babyliss big hair thread and I now dry my hair this way. I have big and bouncy hair every morning now. I love you selfless style and beauty people!

I don't use many skincare products so can I nominate clothes?

  • Bravissimo. From 32B to 28F - it changed the way I dress.
  • Me and Em ruched tube skirts - why oh why did they stop making them?
  • Whistles sparkly knit - low key glamour nailed.

No 7 Stay Perfect mascara. I have lashes instead of black eyes.

Maybelline Super Stay nail polish with a layer of Seche Vite on top. I've never been able to apply nail polish before, and this goes on well and stays on for days.

Oils for just about everything - cleansing, conditioning, moisturising.

Lidl anti wrinkle cream
Hot cloth cleansing with aqueous cream
Night moisturising with almond oil.

Better than much more expensive things I've tried on my dry 55 year old skin.

Boots botanics range
Hot cloth cleansing
Microfibre cloths from the pound shop for extra scrubby cleansing instead of those pricey derma flannel things
H&M LOGG range for better quality stuff
I've just ordered my first item from a korean skincare shop online after reading all the AS threads! 😀

Perfume samples - have reawakened my love of perfume.
KIN by John Lewis - low-budget Celine
Birkenstock Arizona - I know everyone else has been wearing them for years, but I've only recently discovered them.

Double cleansing, sleep packs ( an intensive mosturiser that you put on after other mosturisers) and good suncream, bodyshop vit c suncream snells so good.
Also panache tango and tango 2 bras, give my j cups a nice shape, would think they would work (even better) wonders with anyone less boobily challenged.

Niminy where do you get your perfume samples from?

I'd say Astral but I'm one of the original recommenders because my mummy taught me to use it when I was a nipper.

So....acid toner, double cleansing and facial oils.

I'd say Nip and Fab, Liz Earle and Posho oils, but over the S&B years I've realised Olay Anti wrinkle toner is just as good if not better, ditto Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser (but def not the Radiance one which is horrid, chemically and stinky) and while pure Argan doesn't exactly have me smelling like a rose garden, it does what it's supposed to do and costs about £20 less than the fancy schmancy named ones in boxes on the shelves.

Very sneakily sneaking in Effaclar duo for my dd, because it literally changed her life.

Almond oil for my skin. Has transformed my super sensitive rosacea prone dry skin.

Reading this I'm thinking about getting a babyliss big hair. Those that recommended is it good for very frizzy thick coarse hair? And can an imbecile work it easily?
