What body shape do you wish you had? (Lighthearted)

I am an hourglass figure, and would love to be boyish shaped and would love to wear shirts without the buttons popping open, or tops, without looking two sizes bigger because of my norks! I do love how the boob waist hip ratio makes my waist look small. How about you?

I'd like to have a small waist.

I'm an inverted triangle, so top heavy and I can't wear anything too fitted on my top half as it doesn't fit my boobs.

I put on weight in my middle and so would love a waist.

The problem is not you, it's the stupid fashion industry making straight tops these days.
It's bloody hard to find anything that fits around anything but virtually a flat chest.

I'm skinny but fairly hourglass. Except for my bigger stomach that came with my 40s. I'd dispense with that bit.

straight up and down, flat chest. I miss my B cups but an A would have been even better.

even when a size 8, I had an arse like J Lo's. Don't get me wrong, I think J Lo is lovely. But I don't like that arse on me.

Basically a Trinny. And what I wouldn't give to be tall!

I'm a slim hourglass but would really like my pre-DC shape back, which was more hourglassy which was slightly more extreme basically my boobs were better

I'd be happy to keep my current shape - which I describe these days as 'peapple' due to the addition of flabby post baby tum to my pear shape - if I could have slim ankles and my boobs evened out.

I'm an apple and I would love to be an hourglass, mostly so that I don't have to keep hitching up my trousers. My hips to waist ratio is such that I hardly ever have to undo the button on jeans, I just pull them on, and during the day they gradually obey the laws of gravity and slip back downwards. Grin

Nerdy - I like peapple!

So you're happy to be peapple basically? It's good that you are happy with your shape. My sister always used to say to me "it's nice to have a curvy bum" and I would eye her non existent bum jealously.

she still has no bum at 45!

I'm fucking sick of nothing "fitted" actually filling my boobs. They're huge and I bloody hate them.

I would like to be boy shaped. Lean and willowy with minimal bust. Instead I'm tall and busty and but weight on on my tummy.

I'm the event of a zombie apocalypse I would be first eaten as without a sports bra there is no chance of me running.

NewYear, slightly alarmed by visions of someone whose jeans keep falling down....builders' bum?

Report
NewYearSameMe · 13/03/2016 22:55

I grab them before they reach builders' bum levels. Grin Basically all movement has a trouser hitch at the end of it, get out of car - hitch up trousers, bend and straighten while loading dishwasher/washing machine - hitch up trousers, do squats at the gym - hitch up tracksuit. I always wear gigantic granny knickers and usually layer my tops with a long, close-fitting camisole or sleeveless t-shirt to avoid accidental belly/bum flashing.

I'm an apple (I think), most of my weight congregates around my tummy, which I hate. Also yy to the constant hoisting of trousers, I hate wearing jeans because of this. I would love to have a smaller tummy, maybe as an hour glass type shape. My friend is an hour glass and really manages to pull certain styles off which look ridiculous and ill-fitting on me.

I actually quite like my shape, the only thing I would change is my love handle/saddle bags ( I have them even at 6stone 10) distribute that to my boobs to even them out.

I would like not to be an inverted triangle with enormous norms that make me look huge even though I am not.

I like my shape, I'm a fat hourglass. I'd like to be a size rather than depending on the style/cut or shop I can fit into a 14 or 18.

Report
Ludwsys · 13/03/2016 23:22

I like the shape I have under the fat, I'd like it back. I'm a boyish, athletic build.

I'm not sure if I,m an apple or inverted triangle; even at my slimmest, I don't have waist definition , a bust that is big compared to hips & bum.

I'd like to go in at the waist so guess that means hourglass though I,d rather a reduction in bust than an increase in hip and thigh to balance top and bottom!

I'm happy with my shape. I'm hourglass. I have very wide hips and a small waist, big boobs and thighs and my shoulders balance me all out. The one thing that really ruins my body for me is my calves. I feel like they are too big. I'd love it if I had nicer legs. I love big thighs but big calves, no, not for me. I've got some weight to lose to make the most of my figure again but I've never had slim calves, even when I was at 9 and half stone. It drives me nuts.

I don't mind my shape. I'm pear. I like pear or hourglass. I wouldn't like to be apple or boyish.

TheToys · 14/03/2016 01:32

I'm tallish and somewhere between hourglass and pear, but would love to have a willowy, boyish, tall figure.

Report
NerdyBird · 14/03/2016 01:46

lorelei I suppose it's more like accepting. I'm used to my shape. I could probably change it but that would take huge effort and I know me, I wouldn't do it. But the boobs and ankles are things that would need surgery.

SagaAndMartinsLiftConvos · 14/03/2016 01:47

I'm a pear. Would like to be buff and athletic, like Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 - I saw that film as a teenager and was just wowed by her. Unfortunately I'm not naturally athletic, and I don't have the grit and willpower to exercise myself into any kind of approximation of that look, so I'm stuck with billowy lush curves that I don't know how to dress. I do have a nice waist though, even having gained a stone or so due to medical issues, it has mostly gone on my hips, bum and thighs.

guffaux · 14/03/2016 04:10

i'd love to be long slim and boyish instead of a short fat curvy apple with docker's shoulders Sad

I'm happy enough with my shape - tall, slim hourglass. It's my leg shape (tree trunk) that I'd love to change. I'd love a set of shapely pins that I could trot out in shorts or above the knee skirts.

I'm hourglass but that's because my shoulders match my hips, not because my chest does...Spent years thinking I was pear shaped.

I'd like to stay hourglass but wish my shoulders were narrower and my boobs were bigger (32DD).

Report
Thefitfatty · 14/03/2016 07:27

I'm hourglass and love it, but I've only got a D chest. However I wish I could get rid of my diastasis recti and have a flat tummy again. I look good from the front on, but from the side I have a mum tum.
