I have a date on Thursday night and I have a HUGE SPOT ON MY CHIN! What can I do to make sure it's gone by then?

I used to get terrible cystic acne on my chin every month so I've tried a million things!
Malin & Goetz do a sulphur paste in a little jar that's amazing if it's one of those angry red ones that doesn't have a head and hurts, you can get it from space nk.
Sudocrem overnight usually draws out any gunk so you can pop it and let it heal.
Honey overnight is good to heal as its antibacterial and seems to shrink them. Tea tree oil would also work I think or witch stick but they also make your skin a bit dry Smile

Oh no don't do what I did today and squeeze the hell out of it !!! It's got a scab and is bright red. You'd think i'd know better by now.

My advice is tea tree oil ? Not sure if it works for everyone

I tried sudocrem last night but it didn't work. I will try the honey tonight then get some tea tree oil if that doesn't work.

I never get spots and this is my first date in years. How bloody typical is that!

Malin & Goetz do a sulphur paste

What does this do? Does it make the spot disappear or make it erupt? Just out of interest!!

Magnesium sulphate, pop on and cover with plaster, leave on for as long as poss, hot shower and you should find it comes out on it's own! I had a huge marble sized spot in my bikini area last week, and pharmacies friend reconvened it, it's amazing stuff

It's really cheap for a pop in chemist around £2

The malin & Goetz sulphur stuff makes it shrink without anything coming out, it's so good but I think it works best on cystic acne type spots where it's more infalmmation. Quite expensive for the size of the little hat but it lasts ages and is the only thing I found that worked. Dries your skin a bit where you dab it on but not terribly X

I had a similar thread a week or so ago! Magnesium sulphate paste (as above) took the inflammation right down and dried it up enough to cover it well enough with make up. A blob of it over the spot and keep topping up, then a decent blob overnight. It worked really quickly (next day I could cover it) BUT it doesn't drain the spot just shrinks it. My cystic type of spots never really properly erupted so it'd be ok for that, but you have the usual smaller lump and scar left. Not perfect but a huge improvement!
