I want to buy a new bag but unsure which ones are the best? I currently have a radley but fancy a change. Any ideas?

I'm not into obviously 'branded' bags and got a nice bag from whistles. Was told by sales person made by same people as mulberry Hmmnot sure if true! and not why I bought it! Has lasted well and good leather.

Sorry you asked for brands! I like Michael kors www.selfridges.com/GB/en/cat/womens/bags/michael-michael-kors/

Blimey mintoil my DP needs lessons from your cat, I got a pair of socks from him!

I really don't love Michael Kors. I got a Furla hobo recently and I'd happily cuddle its buttery softness in bed

I like Picard bags, but recently saw a lovely Skagen one, but it was a bit more than I would pay for a bag.

Ted Baker or DKNY for me

Tory burch do nice leather bags - you can get some bargains on the outnet
Also like aspinal of London.

Hmm confused now ha ha. I don't want a £££ brand just one that's good quality that will last and looks good. I'll check out all the ones mentioned so far, thanks peeps.

I have a Michael kors but think it's now really popular and everywhere. I got a lovely Cambridge satchel bag for Christmas? Would recommend having a look

All Saints or Whistles

River Island for me, always loved them, but I'm not grown up enough for any proper designers Blush

I like radley, a few ££ than usual but not as much as 'designer'..

ooh yes I have a Cambridge satchel too in electric blue and it is lovely, but a bit small for everyday use. I lug a lot of stuff around with me and prefer something slightly larger.

Would like a Radley purse puts on Christmas list for next year, cat

I like Coach bags. ££ but not £££ price wise.

I second Coach. Fab quality, very stylish and not overly pricey. It's also nice that they aren't as popular as obviously branded bags like MK

What's your idea of not overly pricey? Just looked online and ones I saw were over £200!! That's Out of my price range! Sad

But 'best brand' could mean anything!

Could you be more specific about what you're looking for - budget, what kind of bag (ie how big, shoulder strap or not...) etc?

I 3rd coach- great selection, quality, detailing, and price is reasonable for what you get.

I don't work for Cambridge satchel btw but they have a sale on! My bag is £40 cheaper than before Christmas! Have a swatch [santa]

Yes, coach! I got my first coach bag earlier this year and now own five Grin. I may be slightly obsessed.

They are streets ahead of Michael kors in terms of quality, and not so ubiquitous

I want a large handbag with small straps I can hold but also a bigger one I can put over shoulder. Needs to be roomy with few compartments. Budget I would say no more than £70!
Am very upset as saw a lovely fiorelli one yest in sale and was meant to go back for it after I'd looked around but as was so chaotic out and was exhausted I forgot BlushSad

Have a look on the fiorelli website for the bag you saw OP. Carvela do some nice bags, a friend has a lovely one but I can't comment on quality. TK maxx usually have a good selection. I've had two really nice bags I've bought in the clarks sale over the past two years so that may be worth a look.

Why not look online for the Fiorelli one you saw? I'm not into bags but got a Rowallan one from tkmaxx that fits your criteria for about 30 quid. It seems to be lasting well.
