I can't make up my mind... Do they, um, look like hooker boots?! They go over the knee, which I have never worn before.

Thanks!

I like them and I think as long as you're careful what you wear you won't look like Julia Roberts !

Thanks, monkey.

What should I wear them with? Skinny jeans only? Are over knee skirts too hookery?!

I definitely don't want to give off this vibe:

This was more what sprung to mind - bit shit talking about hooker boots though.

As it happens, if you'e the figure for them (i don't) then go for it.

Very nice.

Wear with skinny jeans and big sweaters/jumper dresses or tunics.

Oh FGS, LEM, why is it shit? Why does every thread on MN have to be so bloody serious? Is it acceptable to talk about SS boots, then?

Thanks to those who have posted something constructive.

They're fine, they're flat.

So how about something like a chunky knit cowl neck jumper dress with leggings. Or a long maxi skirt and a polo neck. Or an oversized mannish check shirt and skinny jeans.

Thanks!

Sounds like skinnies and chunky tops/ dresses are the way forward. They are very comfortable, so I think I will be keeping them.

Ha! fair enough - i do think SS outstrips hookers in terms of shitness. But anyway, if i could look like JR in a pair, i'd be happy.

I did say i liked them Flowers

Don't wear with above knee skirts unless you have a very plain outfit. Otherwise I like them.

I don't think they look like hooker boots. They look more like the sort of thing that some of the women at work wear with leggings and tunics. I'm not loving them, sorry, but if you like them I definitely don't think they'll come across as tacky looking.

I've been Googling and there are some very nice ways to combine over the knee boots. Mmm, think I need some tunic jumper dresses now!! Oh, and below-knee skirts...

Hi Op my Dd has those boots, they look lovely on her, she wears them with skinny jeans or knitted dress/tunic.

Oh goody! I'm encouraged. I tried them on but was wearing the wrong outfit with them hence my uncertainty. I am often on skinny jeans so this may well work.

Thanks for the opinions Xmas Smile

I hope you have long legs. When I tried them on I only had a couple of inches of leg left so a definite no no

Smile my legs are reasonably long 32"/34". Will post a pic when I can.
Not of my legs - but of them in these boots Grin

They're lovely. Where are they from? I'm after a pair of over knee boots (not planning on looking for business on Hollywood Boulevard in them)
