knitted/jumper dresses

I really want one and there are loads around at the moment but they are all high/ polo necked. Not very flattering on the big of nork Sad
In my head there is the perfect dress in navy or grey, v-necked, long-sleeved, knee/midi length in a fine gauge knit that is quite fitted (so doesn't hang off the boobs and make me look pregnant). Sadly no designers seem to have had quite the same vision. Or have I missed anything?

I want it too!

Sorry, can't help, but shamelessly marking my place!

I got a v neck, fit and flare, long sleeved black ribbed knitted dress from asda last year. It was surprisingly flattering. My sil even asked if it was monsoon. I wore it loads over the festive season as it was.so easy to wear and dress up or down. Sadly I can't wear it this year as I'm pregnant. Hope you manage to find one to suit you.

I've been trying to find v/low-necked jumper dresses too. Impossible task...
I'm quite short as well so don't want anything too long as it'll swamp me. Even more impossible

Kramp do you know how long the White Stuff ones are? There dresses always come up above the knee on me

If you scroll through the photos, they have a full length photo of the model, and the hem is on/skimming above her knee
I would guess that she is 5'9"+, so if you are shorter than that, it will be on/below the knee

I discoveredthis in Next. A shop I usually hate and loathe. It has side splits though which don't show in the photo.

Thanks Spare too short for me

I have this from Fat Face. I absolutely love it. It isn't fitted but is nicely slim fitting on me. I am 5'9" size 12 with 32f boobs and the size 12 is perfect. I wear it with leggings

I have it in grey but would love all the colours.

I got a lower round neck one from Primark last year. Might be worth checking ? Also Sainsburys had V neck ones when I was in recently.

I just bought a stunning navy blue Jaeger one.....from a charity shop.

Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to next week's cold weather so I can wear it?

Watching with interest, I have the perfect v neck, flattering black knit jumper dress but it came from BHS (!) 6 odd years ago and I live in fear that it will become to tatty to wear - but I've never found a replacement that is anywhere near as nice!

Ooh thanks all, sorry had such a busy week last week I completely forgot I'd posted this! Blush

I've tried the white company one (in desperation!) and didn't like the fit, it was sort of baggy around the middle which is not a good look on me! The Next one could be possible though, I'll see if they have it in locally to try. I hadn't seen any in my Sainsburys but will look out next time I go in. I had a knitted dress years ago from Sainsburys and loved it!

I've just bought this on Yoox and its gorgeous.

It's cashmere, wool & elastene so it's stretchy and really soft. Very figure hugging. Comes up quite small. I'm an 8 and the 10 fits fine. I got the grey and black too.

Other ideas: Celtic Sheepskin

If you'd compromise on a round neck: Celtic Sheepskin 2
