On Friday I am flying to Orlando for a massively pointless work conference, flying back Sunday. We fly from cold northern uk city at quite early o'clock, brief stop over in us airport, land Orlando early evening. I have a drinks reception, a day and a half of 'business casual' and a dinner described as 'cocktail - men must wear jackets, ties optional' then we fly back Sunday. Some outdoors, some indoors. It's going to be about 27 degrees in Orlando. What the chuff do I wear for the various elements of this farrago? Any suggestions will be gratefully received, I'm too stressed managing the childcare implications to think about aesthetics but need to not look like an idiot for career maintaining reasons

For flying I’d just wear what you’d usually wear to fly - something comfy! Leggings, converse and a long top with a zip up hoodie or something. Just have your make-up and hair done to look finished Smile

What about something like this...although maybe not this as I’m not sold on the print...with wedges for the business casual part as it is going to be pretty warm!

You could carry a grey/pale blue blazer about with you to dress it up if its needed or if you’re inside a lot with the air con on.

This could be nice for the black tie or do you think you’d need dressier?www.marksandspencer.com/floral-lace-skater-dress/p/p22420995

In my experience people are not always as dressed up in the States! Or will most of the people there not actually be American?
