Anyone bored who fancies dressing me for a wedding, please

It's XP's brother's wedding. We recently split up very amicably. DS (2) is going and as XP is best man they won't let him sit with him or his gran (both on top table). So I will be going to accompany him.

It's quite a fancy wedding in a little country house.

I have a very hourglass figure. 34E boobs, small waist, size 12, big hips. My stomach is quite flat and my arms are fine. I'm 5'3".

Can't wear anything tight across the thighs as they're too muscular and make the dresses wrinkle.

I really don't suit black or khaki. Look best in bright blue but am open to other colours.

Max budget is around £150. Plus shoes, fascinator or hair clip.

Thank you!

What's your favourite dress like? Or outfit if you don't have a fave dress

I like this.

I also like a lot of the 50s swing dresses. I definitely need something that goes in at the waist.

Thanks for looking.

Probably the same shape as no 2. Think no 1 is too high necked and may give me the dreaded shelf boob.

I don't like the shininess of number 3!

A-ha.

I'll look again, not so much bored as avoiding the washing up Grin.

Or this?

Oh no Sweet. I hate that and I don't know why. I think it looks very Tina Turner Grin

I love this but it a) is probably too young for me and b) probably looks to bridesmaidy.

I'm 32 by the way, if that matters

I like this but is it asking for trouble with a toddler in tow?

I was just going to say that from your description Lindy Bop sounds like a good place to start. I can vouch for the quality (they are v reasonably priced so I was sceptical) and they deliver really quickly.

Have you looked at Pepperberry? They're the clothes part of Bravissimo so do dresses designed to fit curvier figures. Something like this Sophia dress maybe? www.bravissimo.com/m/pepperberry/?utm_campaign=PB+HS15+Sale+200715&utm_source=emailCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=&mid=AA920817649271378095430466393313#products/dresses/day-dresses/sophia-dress/navy/pd391nvy/

The Pretty Dress Company do some gorgeous dresses both fitted and flared - I always choose them for occasions. Suit an hourglass figure definitely.
