Which bra hook should you use for a new bra?

I usually start on the first hook (loose one) but wasn't sure if you are meant to start on the middle or go to the middle after it has been stretched a bit.

You are meant to start on the loosest. It will give as the fabric ages and you move to the tighter ones.

The exception is if pregnant, when your ribs are likely to expand, so you buy maternity bras on the tightest setting.
