Holiday hair tips

I'm considering not taking my hairdryer on holiday this year. A brave move as I have shoulder length hair that loves a bit of frizz in humidity. I normally shower and wash my hair in the evening (on holiday) but really there's no point in blow drying it as it just frizzes and curls in the heat anyway.

Does anyone have top tips for keeping frizz at bay (without it looking greasy) and for creating soft waves without it looking 80s.

Thanks

I tie mine in a smooth twist/knot at the back when it's wet and leave it to dry like that. A nice thick piece of ribbon as hairband keeps the frizz from getting out of control on top. Then once dry, release hair to give soft waves that don't frizz.

I sometimes stick a bit of frizz-ease in the ends once dry too but usually allowing it dry in the knot is enough to keep it smooth.

I too have frizz issues. When I blow dry my hair I look like a lion.

Can you wash in the evening as usual then tie it back into a low bun, the sort that swirls around (technical description), fix with a snag-free band and sleep in it - then when its dried in the morning you'll have loose flowing waves. I do this every time I wash my hair and its always nice. But I'm not prone to frizz so cannot guarantee this will look good on you!

Thanks. I actually tried that today and it doesn't look too bad!

I spray salt spray on and then twist sections and leave to dry. Run my fingers through when it's dry to loosen everything.
