Skin around eyes has become sore

My skin has been improving gradually due to my improving my routine - double cleansing, toning, serum, moisturiser - but in the last few days the skin around my eyes has started stinging and is feeling dry and rough. I think it's related to using high factor sunscreen (although a specific face one) recently.

Any suggestions of what I can do to improve the situation? Preferably things I can buy today in Boots/Superdrug/Tesco. Also, suggestions of high factor facial sunscreens for more sensitive skins - been using a Boots Solait SPF50 BB cream or a Nutrogena one.

sounds like eczema to me or at the least an allergic reaction to the creams you are using. I wouldn't use anything but plain aqueous cream & see the DR if it gets worse

I got some eczema round my eyes during a virus recently and the pharmacist recommended Moo Goo scalp cream. It's from Australia but I think it's quite widely available. It did the job and I still sometimes use it as I get watery eyes, which makes the skin at the corners quite sore.

I had this and found starflower oil (both cream and supplement) cleared it up. I was prescribed steroid cream but was worried about it thinning the skin so decided to try this. It worked very quickly
