Should I call it quits and cut it off?

I had mid brown greying hair down to my shoulders....I fancied a change so bobbed it, cut in a fri he and dyed it copper red. It looked like crap. Too warm for my colouring, too light for my eyebrows....I thought about cutting it out and having it short but my hairdresser talked me out of it. To be fair to her I have a round face and double chin. She tried to tone down the brassy red with bayalage.... It's less harsh but still too warm a tone ....not £100 better put it that way. I'm thinking of cutting my losses literally and have it cropped to my ears.....I could just put a dark brown over the whole sorry mess but I'm sure the warmth with come through plus it is really dry already after the bayalage.....help!

I pixie cropped my hair when I wanted to grow out my highlights. It was certainly a really quick way of getting rid of the colour and improving the quality of my hair. I also found growing my hair back out easy-it took exactly 12 months to go from above ear length to a chin length bob. So from my experience is say go for it!

Why not leave it for a while . It might fade with washing. Condition it well. Can you warm up your make up. Then do the brown thing.

I wouldn't do any more panic treatments.

Ha ha ha HappyGirlNow, the thoughts you must have been thinking!

Please tell me you share my 'football with a double chin' head Blueberry and this pixie will work??

Sadly the fading is just making it more and more orange and brassy - I have to wash it every day and I can see the orange rearing it's ugly head already. My best friend was super honest with me at weekend and I know it's a bit of a tip - even my v tactful DH was a bit Hmm when I came back from the hairdressers....... I am aware I may be bouncing off the walls hairwise though!

Well I've definitely got a double chin but my face is quite long. Get loads of kirby grips and pin your hair back, see what you look like with nothing framing your face-that will give you a good idea as to wether you can pull it off or not.
