How do you do your hair? Mine is very thick, quite long, with a natural curl and in the warm summer months I just let it dry naturally and have surfy curls but on colder days when I want to dry it unless I straighten it, it's a bit of a mess. I also want to be able to wear it up more but unless I do it quite tight which hurts my head it fights it's way free and I have messy bits here, there and everywhere. Oh to be sleek!

Other than a ponytail and half up-half down, I don't know what else to do. My ponytails are never very neat either. I'd love to wear a plait or a French plait but can't seem to get the hang of working at the back of my head.

Is there a secret school of hair management that I didn't go to that teaches you how to do your hair quickly and neatly? Can you give me hair tips?

I wear a side plat a lot of the time.

I wear my hair in buns, fishtail plaits, straighten it, curl it. Mainly it gets put up in buns and fishtail plait. My hair is incredibly thick so it's rare that I straighten it

zzz do you use pins to keep the non-plaited side in check as mine just falls down on one side...

Yes I sometimes pin it. If I don't it does come out by end of day, and I look scruffy.
