Capsule wardrobe- shoe help please!

I am planning my capsule wardrobe for a holiday (months away, but need to get organised). I am going with navy/ cream/ grey as basic colours. I want a pair of converse trainers to trot about in, play with DS and travel in.

What colour and style would you go for? I'd like to use them for my main holiday too, which will be in a cold place in August.

I would get white Superga! I've just bought a pair and they are much nicer than my old Converse. I got the leather versions to make them easier to keep clean.

I've had loads of compliments for mine - I'm a total convert now although the sizing is bizarre - they're very large IMO.
