We'll be travelling next sat by car and plane to Gran Canaria. We will br travelling all told for about 12 hours. I am planning to wear some pants like these (but full length) with a white t-shirt and a light weight zip up hoody like this link but in red. Will this be oki - we will have ds wioth us so I want something comfy and am unsure whether to go with heeled wedges or flat sandles?

Thanks Smile

I never wear white to travel, I always feel grubby in it. Stretchy pants and comfy shoes are my must haves as I swell terribly with air travel.

Black tshirt?
How forgiving are those trousers round your waist?
Wear whichever shoes you are happiest standing around for a long time in, and potentially walking miles.
Is it you with the 10 month old? I'd take a spare teeshirt for you, and a spare set of clothes for him in hand luggage.

Yep and me hubby with 10m old. They are quite ok, they come up nice and high so no muffin top and dont sever me at the waist either lol.

Good idea on spare tops - I'll pack one for me and DH in hand luggage. I find black shows up all kinds of snot, sick, dribble... I was thinking like a burnt orange maybe as I have an oranish nail varnish and brown sandles... this sounds terribly drab but it's not I promise!

A complete change of clothes in hand luggage for all of you. Babies are often sick on planes in my experience, or their nappy leaks onto your legs. Have been very glad I followed this advice on several occasions, particularly the flight when ds2 threw up over me, dh and my mum in one spectacular heave!
Certainly not white clothes, preferably patterned.
A big scarf or wrap, patterned.
