21yo and very bored of my makeup routine - help me!

Hi everyone.
I'm 21- 22 soon. Expecting my first baby in April :-)
For the past few years I've just got into a boring routine with my makeup, from not having much time in the mornings- to rushing around at weekends. I'll have a little bit more time on my hands as I now only work part time. (Only for a short time though I know, until the baby is here, then il perhaps have no time for makeup haha!).
I just want to update my routine or try some new products? My skin is combination- dry in some areas due to my eczema and sensitive skin, and oily sometimes on t-zone and chin. I don't particularly have a skincare routine either. Here's a list of products I use on a day to day basis.

â?¢Currently no concealer left so using Clinique Stay Matte Liquid Foundation as a base in a light shade.
â?¢MAC Full Coverage Foundation - mostly all over again as I like the fully covered look. I wear foundation as I have a lot of acne scars and redness.
â?¢Bourjois Clubbing mascara.
â?¢Revlon Cream Blusher
â?¢Any nude lipstick by MAC or MUA (not to concerned about changing the lipstick side of things).

Wow when I read it back it looks so boring! Help me! X

I don't think anything about your list of makeup is particularly boring, the trick is knowing how to apply it best for you.. Have a look on you tube at some of the beauty guru channels. I discovered my love of make up at your age (also whilst pregnant) through you tube. Some of the channels i can recommend are Jaclyn Hill, xsparkage, Zoella.. you will find more on there. You will be able to find out from watching these videos the type of products that will work for your skin type to achieve the look you're after.

Just a quick couple of recommendations..

if you like full coverage foundation, estee lauder double wear is as about as full coverage as it gets.

if you are dry stick with a liquid foundation and then apply a finishing powder (such as mac prep and prime) to your oily sections. Remember to moisturise first and have a look at primers, maybelline baby skin is very good.

Sleek are a great drugstore brand for blushes, you can find them in big superdrugs.

Finally, have a look at videos on how to contour.

Try some Rosehip oil to help with the ezcema and acne scars. I love Trilogy, but there are lots of different brands. Just smooth on a few drops on clean skin, add moisturiser after if you like. If you can help improve your skin, you might be able to lighten your base coverage.

I love Rimmel Wake me Up concealer for under eyes and around the base of my nose (don't use it on blemishes as it's light reflecting). A bit of concealer over the eye circles and red bits might mean that you don't need so much foundation.

Make up is a lot of fun, and easily removed if you aren't happy with the look.

Eyeliner can make a big difference to your eyes, as can lightly defining your eyebrows.
