Big baggy stomach - should I be wearing empire line tunics? How best to disguise?

After 4 children I have the flabbiest, saggiest stomach with an apron/over hang bit. Beautiful!

What tops are best to disguise it? I want to be wearing long knitted cardies with leggings/jeggings/skinny jeans, but can't find the right sort of top. To stretchy and it clings to all the lumps and bumps. I've got some muscle separation so my stomach is like a sideways 'm' and looks awful.

I need to be wearing longish tops to cover the apron bit and hang under my bum!

Any thoughts?

I have bit of a tummy too but in my experience a empire line can make you look pregnant. I have a couple of yhings that are empire line but I do wear tummy pants to lesson in case anyone gets the wrong idea!!! Best cut, slightly A-line tunic style. Slightly nipped in at waist or strsight up snd down.

I'd probably looking into some spanx type undergarments for a start.

I get tunic tops from fat face or wear long vest with skinnys and anything else on top. Don't wear empire line can make you look preggers. Next do some decent jumper tunics that are straight long and hide the tum. Try a fitted shirt too that ends just below. Loads of mums suffer with the same predicament and there's bugger all we can do about it!

Another one Mary portas house of Fraser does some great tops that arent the most on trend but easily dressed up with accessories. If you have great tits highlight these or great legs dont stress about the mum tum.

bugger all we can do about it I'm 6m after 3rd child and someone on Mumsnet recommended Mutu system to me back in September. V encouraging results so far, and am no longer worrying about hiding the ab-flab.

I am busily googling all your suggestions! I have various hold it in pants and stuff but I find they just make my stomach look more rounded and pregnant. Or I get a roll of flab pushed up to under my boobs.

I had three pregnancies in a short space of time and my tummy is terrible too... am off to look at the Mutu system now!

Meanwhile, I mostly wear high waisted skinny jeans (Topshop usually) which pull everything in, together with Primark control knickers and tummy control vests (these are lovely cotton with an inner lining). Then I can wear any top I like.
