Get me out of my trainers!

When I'm not going anywhere I find myself in my trainers all day and it's a bit depressing.

I have vans and converses but wearing them for too long gives me problems in my knee, hip and ankle which I suspect is due to a lack of support. I don't have this problem with my asics running trainers.

Are there any smarter looking or at least more stylish supportive shoes out there? My budget isn't huge but I will pay more for quality that will last. Ideally I need flat (or very low heeled) shoes.

Thanks in advance, I'll come back to this after the school run in my trainers again

Just you and me then bonzo.

Google directs me to "hotter" shoes but they seem a bit too mature for me (I'm 24 so I'm looking for something a little bit cooler). see what I did there? Made me laugh anyway. Grin

Oh god. I'm old. (36). Far too old for trainers. I've got some cute ankle boots that I've worn with skinny jeans this week. They're tan nubuck with fake sheepskin lining. The tops are turned over and quite wide so you can slip them on. They were from clarks ages ago, no longer on the web site. Every couple of years I try to stop wearing trainers. And fail. If it's hit I wear Birkenstocks (Mayari if you wanted to know), and if cold uggs (old kensingtons) or cold and wet ugg (arondiakes). Trainers for work too.
