Sunglasses for small face? Teen range? Help!

I tell you what S&B has sorted so many niggling problems out for me over the past month or so (wearing the correct bra size now! Know how to apply foundation properly. Better skin routine etc etc) - thank you mumsnetters!

Last sort of niggle for me right now is sunglasses. Really need a pair that fit my small face! Can anyone help?

Would prefer a plastic pair (brown or similar) as they don't mark your nose as much. Every summer I make do but it's a real pain. I just want a nice, simple style that fits!!

Can anyone help?

Google sunglasses small face and Life Unsweetened will give you the definite answers. Ray Ban have a narrow face range, I learned this from the newspaper interview of an Italian socialite who only uses the RB small frame range. She's 70sth so not exactly a teen and über stylish of course Wink

I just bought a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers in the new small (47mm), much better for my small-ish face. Worth checking out if you like the style

Ahhh you guys are fab. I love Ray Ban but didn't know they did small sizes.

Could you link me to the wayfarers you bought if poss? I can't find the small ones online (quick google search on my phone) - I'd need then in brown x

Try Glasses Direct - they have a reasonable petite range, including quite a few that would be suitable with a tint added. I have prescription lenses (£20 for complete pair of glasses with anti-scratch) but did see that you could have blank lenses and tints.

In addition to their petite range, you can also just set filters on the size when you do a search to get a good fit.

Oxcat - thanks for the info, worth knowing for when I buy regular glasses too.

Big boots stores normally have loads of sunglasses to try on from different ranges
