Sophia & Matt oilcloth handbags

They are a (as far as I know) smallish outlet based in Greenwich Market. I want a new bag (currently have an Orla K) and was playing with the idea of one of theirs.

My sister threw out there that the oilcloth looked shiny and therefore 'might be the kind that cracks'. My current Orla bag has cracked eventually... but it's about 5 years old.

Have you got a Sophia & Matt bag that you can report back on? I liked another Orla bag initially but am worried it will show wear/dirt:

Linear Stem Multi in Stone

Are there any other oilcloth bag manufacturers I should be looking at? Thanks for your help...

I've got one, its kind of across the body, about 30cm at the longest. They're nice quality but mine isn't lined which I was a bit surprised about. It's over a year old and I use it all the time. It doesn't seem like it will crack (my boden shopper has) but has picked up some dye staining from somewhere (but that's not a quality issue). Someone on here recommended an amazing ebay shop where you choose your shape and material, they looked lovely too.

I live in Greenwich and am actually about to head out to the shops - I can drop in and poke them for you if you like?

Thanks Amethyst! But I know they look fine to start with; I just wanted a long-term user's opinion.

Thnaks Petronellas - I will see if I can find it. Cath Kidston and Boden are all nice bags, but I just wanted to have something less mainstream for my actual bag.
