Any reccomendations for a nice comfy pair of flats for work?

Ideally a dark colour but comfy is the most important.

I usually buy from topshop/new look and they always end up rubbing.

If they don't need to be too smart, these are the comfiest pair of leather shoes I've ever owned.

Land's End not frumpy though!
I have these in a few colours. They are very comfy and last for years.
They do variations on the style and add colours a lot too.

I have a pair of aerosoles with a tiny heel, amazingly comfy!! They also have good support.

I got them in tk maxx so not sure where they are sold.

Asos. My standard black ballet shoes are indestructible.

Get some with a leather lining, much nicer to wear with bare feet. Next and Boden often have them. Or French Sole, if you're feeling flush.

I have quite a few pairs of French Sole ballet flats, which I bought all in one go in a ridiculously cheap closing down sale. I don't find them very comfy, and I don't find that they stay on my feet well (I do have narrow ankles), although lots of people seem to love them.

Bloch are brilliant for this as they are all leather and elasticated (not frumpsome) so stay on. Thick leather soles, bliss, and they look like proper shoes not slumpy shufflers. They ain't cheap but TK do them around this time of year for 25 quid as opposed to 150.
