Great Plains..any good?

There's still lots of bargains on their website and I'm in need of a few things due to recent weight-loss and need for work clothes that fit me. Anyone bought anything in the sale that they were particularly pleased with or very disappointed in?
I'm looking at Winter Daisy Pencil Skirt and this and this.
I'm a bit wary as they are still in the sale and don't want to end up sending the whole lot back. Recommendations gratefully received.

I have a few things from great plains and really like them - they sell in a very swish shop near us alongside some designer bits. not sure what the returns policy is like but Id go for it if not too expensive to return

haven't checked your links but yes Great Plains are usually good quality. I usually buy in the sales too but am not this year as i'm pregnant.

i have a favourite dress that is great plains.

I like Great Plains usually.
Not as enamoured of this seasons collection however.
I did buy a few bits in the sale which I was pleased with.

Thanks for the reply - I seemed to be challenged by making the links work Smile. It's good to hear that the quality is good. I too have seen the clothes in nice independent shops so I think I'll just go for it.

I always find it disappointing. There is usually a reason that it is so reduced IMO.

That's what I'm afraid of Primal. It's particularly unnerving when something is still available in all sizes. I've ordered but haven't had a confirmation email - seems doomed.
I'm after the emerson lace shirt, winter daisy pencil skirt and suzie cashmere slouchy cardigan. Not stupidly reduced and sold out in several sizes so may be ok.

nice quality stuff but the sizing is a bit too generous. Med seems like a size 14.

The sizing can differ massively in their clothes. I ordered a couple of tops in the sale in large and they were really big but in the past when I've ordered a medium they've been on small size. They are good quality.

I have tons of their stuff since discovering them a few sales back on here! Quality is variable TBH, though most stuff is fine. But I would never EVER buy any of it until it's 70% off - original prices are way too high. But I do love love love their sales Grin

Agree quality can be variable but I've had some amazingly good quality bargains from there.

I have the Lille jumper in several colours and wear them lots. They are still in the sale despite being lovely so don't let that put you off! Be careful with sizing though, Iam normally a medium (10-12) but I ordered the home sweet home dress and it was tiny.

Can't get the links to work.

I think the quality is generally poor, and the fabrics/shapes are always worse irl than they look online. I don't buy their stuff anymore, but if I did, I agree that it should only be bought when v v reduced.
