Skin care questions from an idiot

I've just realised I know actually v little about what I'm meant to be doing with my skin, aside from wash it and moisturise it.

I've been using superdrug's Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser for quite a while, with ok-ish result. Imo, my skin still looks a bit grey and dull, and I get occasional break outs.

I occasionally use a Liz Earle facial scrub, and mositurise every night and after showering with Liz Earle too. After showering, I feel like I need to mositurise, which I think means my skin is dehydrated?

I've just bought a the superdrug natural radiance serum, which says apply to cleansed skin in the morning - should I be cleansing in the morning?

I'd say I have combination skin, but with the recent weather it's deffo on the dry side. I'm in my early 20s if that makes any difference.

PLEASE HELP AND TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO TO MAKE MYSELF BEAUTIFUL!

I know I should really cut down on sugar to see a real difference, but life is just too damn short.

TIA

A scrub or Creme with AHA or brightening on it should help you.

However also found if I use face masks (any Montagne jeunesse etc) help.

You should be using a hydrating moisturiser Bobbi Browns gel one is good but also liking Avene Rich Compensating Creme.

I'd use the cleanser in the morning too although I know some people cleanse at night then just use warm water & flannel in the morning.

I've not tried the radiance serum but I do use the superdrug vitamin e intensive moisture cream and vit e night cream from superdrug & love them at this time of year.

The Liz Earle face scrub isn't very effective for me so maybe invest in a different scrub to use once/twice a week. I use Alpha H microcleanse which has AHAs.

Do you use foundation? You really should double cleanse if you do: 1 remove make-up, 2 cleanse as you please.

Scrubs are counter productive, IME.
