Alternative to jeans

I live in jeans. Denin or black etc. What other trousers could I wear that would look a bit more stylish (no seams please) and just as comfy/easy to wear?

I've got cords too. I like Chinos too but I think I'm looking a bit grungy in these trousers just now. What is "one step up" (in style) from this sort of trouser?

Oh I was going to say rolled-up chinos too. What about something in wool?

Wool is good but trousers have to go in the washing machine and wool trousers seem to always be dry clean only.
