I am going to brave it and hand wash my first cashmere sweater later. I cant get my hands on Woolite for wool anywhere, for some reason. What else can i buy? I have fairy non bio already and Woolite "all colours super concentrated" which dh bought as a next best offering. Help! Im a cashmere virgin. What do you use?

Ok thank you for the speedy replies. I might be able to get ecover. Failing that i will get some baby shampoo. Do i use fabric softener after washing yea?

My shampoo and the hand wash program of my washing machine, then towel and flat dry. Works really well.

Woolite will be fine too. Main thing is to keep the water temperature cool. You're washing by hand right? Just a cool hand wash and then wring it out gently and dry flat. If you're really serious about it you can gently blot the water out with a towel.
