Winter boots for DS aged 14

For the last 4-5 years I've bought him Clarks Gore-Tex boots .
Especially now at Secondary if he has to walk to school in snow he doesn't have storage for wellies/wouldn't bring them home/ would walk home in his school shoes and ruin them

But he's a size 6 now, it's more difficult to find them and he's too small for mens sizes.

So- the challenge is:
waterproof
black
not a training shoe

able to buy in-store (I can get to Bluewater/Lakeside/ Stratford Westfields or London) .
DS doesn't do pottering round trying things on like his sister so we need to narrow it down.

TIA Smile

Do you have a "Go Outdoors"?

When DS went skiing last Feb, he needed boots to walk from the hotel to whatever they were doing in the evening.

I really didn't want to spend a huge amount of money and found a fab pair (he is a size six and 14) at the above store. Cost £35 and he actually wore them before the ski trip in all the bad weather we had, used them for his paper round and wore them on the 10 mile school walk just before they broke up for summer.

They may do online.

There's a "Go Outdoors" at Lakeside Retail Park.

DS is already "I don't need shoes" Hmm face.

Oh Joy. Shopping for shoes with my teen
(Might forse some clothes shopping on him while I'm at it) Grin

I went to Clarks , had DS measured.
They didn't have a boot in his size in stock.
Came home, went on Ebay and...... bought a pair of BNIB Goretex black Clarks boots £24 + P&P.

Bargain Grin
