The baptism is in 2 weeks time and having gone through wardrobe, nothing I have looks right for the occasion (post pregnancy body makes me want to cry..). Money is really tight as well so I thought of getting something from Ebay or any high street store. I'm 5'6, have red hair, green eyes, freckly skin. Legs are okay but have big boobs (still breastfeeding) and mum tum. Any ideas you wise ladies?

Not sure how helpful this is but my DCs are being christened this Sun.
Im wearing a black lace dress comes just above the knee. It's got a white lining so you can see through and a big black bow on the back made of the black lace (not as tacky as it sounds promise!) wearing with nude 3inch heels.

My nephew is also being christened and my sister is wearing a v similar dress but its cream colour.

I looked everywhere for a dress and found one on sale in Miss Selfridge. Not sure where you usually shop, I dont generally shop there as its not great quality but the dress was fab.

I just think don't be too 'bling' for want of a better word. Remember it's a church. Baptism is a sacrament. It's a Holy occasion, so dress appropriately.
My 2 teenage step daughters turned up to my sons Baptism looking like they were going out clubbing afterwards. Inches thick make up, TINY skirts, boob tubes, huge heels. They thought they looked lovely. Made a real effort. (If they WERE going clubbing they would have looked amazing!!) I thought they looked like a couple of slappers, and my DH was mortified. Lots of raised eyebrows from other elderly rels.

Be smart, but remember it's not an 'evening wear' occasion!
