Should I get DH a single or double breasted dinner suit? Why is there a difference and is double out of fashion at the mo or not?

One more dilemma. Can he just wear the jacket with plain black trousers or do they have to have the satin seam?

double breasted is definite no-no

i dont think the satin seam is important
