If my skin doesn't tolerate AHA's, is there an alternative

chemical exfoliant that's worth a try?
I have mature skin and I really feel the need to exfoliate but my skin doesn't tolerate glycolic acid. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, just a reaction to glycolic.

If you google it, I think you can make natural exfoliators yourself

Thanks for the suggestionTilly, but I'm looking for a product I can buy, I'm far too bone idle to be making concoctions in my kitchen!
I was hoping for recommendations for an alternative chemical exfoliant. i've heard that there is another one called 'mandelic' acid which is better tolerated by some skins, just wanted to see if anyone has tried it or anything else.

Have you tried salycilic acid? I use Nutrogena pink grapefruit scrub as a mask for a few mins in the shower and it seems to erase the top level of skin nicely Smile not sure you're meant to use it like this but works for me.
