What colour shoes and bag should I put with this posh frock?

I bought this dress a few weeks ago for an evening wedding reception

They had matching shoes and clutch bag in the shop but I wasn't that keen, plus they were expensive, considering I'd blown the budget on the frock!

I think black would be too harsh. I can't find any green shoes I could walk in (I really don't do high heels so am looking for kitten heels, maybe?) and I'm not sure about nude shoes....

So, fashionistas, what do you think? My latest thoughts are either pewter or shocking pink (I like a bit of wow factor even if people think yuk :))

Nice dress.Monsoon do minging shoes so steer clear.
Nude?
No
Shocking pink?
Too much.

I'd go for a coppery colour but nowt that is shiny.
Anything here you like?
I've piut a filter on for brown and high heels if it doesn't come through.

Thanks, moondog - I do like the Nine West black ones but you're right, they're not very weddingy. But I would definitely be able to wear them again - I think I've already got some quite similar but they're about 10 years old.

I agree I shouldn't get shiny shoes - I'd look like I'd been glazed with a shiny frock too Grin

lovely dress i think a muted silver or grey and very simple would look stunning because the dress itself looks amazing so you dont need much else to look completely fabulous!

Thanks, babadabadoo - I'll have a look at those links. I didn't think of googling for MOB accessories because I'm just a guest but its a great idea :)
