I've heard of a few people now that have apparently lost two dress sizes by using te flabelos vibrating machine 3 times per week for 6 weeks!

Does this really work?

I'm not sure if they are loosing weight or just inches but I would be happy with either!

Don't do it, it feels like it's going to pop your brain out of your skull.

And one of their agents tried to convince me to hire one and when I told them I have joint and heart issues he told me it would help! He was still trying to convince me when I told him it could dislocate my hips/knees. Hmm

I don't trust them and don't actually know anyone who has lost anything with them from that alone.

On the website one person claimed to have done it everyday for 3 weeks and lost a dress size!

You have to do exercises on them as well! It's awful and it feels horrid. :(

Agree that they clearly aren't very good for you. They make your muscles tense up to keep balance, and the tension basically exercises your muscles and the adrenaline is cardio. I think there are much more fun ways to exercise personally - Zumba, swimming, even home video stuff appeals more.

I used one about 5 times a week for three weeks before I got married and I went down a dress size but others didn't notice. Like all of this kind of thing though, as soon as you stop you go back to normal.
And it is horrible when you are on them!

Also did you change your diet and exercise more at the same time? Or was that the only thing you did differently?

And Did it impure wobbly bits? If you had any Grin

I didn't change my diet consciously, although it was on the build up to my wedding so whether I did subconsciously or not I couldn't really say.

I went from a 14 to a 12 but as I say, it wasn't really noticeable. I carry my weight on my stomach and unfortunately it was still all there when I was on my honeymoon, although clothes did fit a little better. Also really temporary - was back to normal by the time I got back from honeymoon Blush

It was the flabelos machine I used, think I did 10 mins on the highest setting. Horrible sensation though.

Gave me a bit of confidence boost knowing I had changed a little bit but no-one else noticed Hmm

And no, no other exercise (which is why I ended p using he flabelos in the first place, should have sorted diet and exercise when i had time for it to make an impact....)

Is the machine called a 'Flabelos'?!!!

I thought the thread title was referring to a nickname for overweight people!

I love flabelos- I am intending to buy one, I’ve been using 1 in a tanning salon for years- in the spring and summer months.
They work well, getting rid of love handles and wobbly bits, u can feel the difference within a few wks, and see it after 6 wks.
Perfect if you struggle finding time to go to the gym. I recommend 20 mins a day atleast every other day if you want to see dramatic changes

Couldn’t you just lean up against your washing machine on a fast spin cycle to get the same effect?

Thread resurrection by the way!
