Clothes for a GP

does this dress work for a GP?

I'm looking for a work dress for my DS's birthday, she's a GP. Up to about £60. She's size 10-12, nice arms and shoulders! Not very tall.

I've got distracted by this dress, I really like it. But is it suitable for a GP? Maybe only in the height of summer so perhaps no good? Grrrrr.

It's a nice dress but I think you're right about it only really being suitable for the summer. still nice though.

The female GPs in my practice tend to wear office type clothes all of the time. just a shirt/nice top and trousers/skirt .

I like the dress though would possibly be more for after work /meetings than surgery time.

I think it's fine for a GP, I work ins surgery and ours wear smart dressed and boots etc. surgeries are hot all year round so I wouldnt worry about it being summery.

I usually wear coast dresses and don't look out of place.

I think it's fine-right length, no cleavage on show. If it's cold presumably a cardi could be added.

It's quite cheery, I like it. What is her skin colour? Would look best on blondes, I say.

Its lovely from the front - pretty unforgiving from the back though.

Ah, glad you like it. Agree Mrs CB, I thought the rear was a bit harsh too. She's dark blonde, quite tanned.

Have decided against it though on the grounds it is every day work she really wants and today ordered this Hobbs top instead.

I might point it out to her in case she's looking for something like that though!
