I've not been to HG for a few years.

Is it worth a trip round the M25?
I'm after a trip to Tresspass (outdoor /waterproof.)
Maybe M&S Outlet
TKMaxx for a wander.

Is it worth a nosey or has it gone downhill like alot of shopping centres (closed shops/empty shops)

TIA

i like it (went today) it has:
Gap outlet, great for kids/men okay for women nothing too special
calvin klein underwear good for bargains but you have to hunt them out
tk maxx - like any other though very big
my fav french connection/great plains outlet. lots of bargains at the back and reductions on lots of stock
tons of cook ware/tea pot type shops
two next outlets (home and clothing)
m and s outlet - not much excitement there
waterstones
hmv (still open)
lots of other shops i can't remember!
massive indoor play area if you have kids

don't think there are any closed shops there - couple of nice eating places and ob lots of fast food outlets at the front

It's ok, not brilliant...the tk maxx is pretty good, M&S is mainly frump (with exceptions), Trespass has been joined by Mountain Warehouse and another outdoor shop so good on that score. There's a Gap outlet which seems to sell poor quality stuff at a lower price (rather than reduced price last-season Gap, as you'd expect. Although I've had some nice baby things from there) and a French Connection outlet. There used to be a Laura Ashley furniture outlet but it closed...Ghost is very good there if you need formal wear.

If you are going to go, I'd def recommend going early, I had to go a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and it was manic.

I think the Galleria is a depressing white elephant. It's always full of bored looking people wandering around, killing time.

The only semi decent store is the Waterstone's (iirc).
