Cardi as backup cold weather wear at wedding

I have a wedding to go to at the end of May, in Durham so it has potential for being cold. It's a reasonably casual affair, and I'm wearing a dark blue sleeveless top and a black full circle skirt. I'm in the market for a nice cardi but as I already trawled the Internet for 3 hours last night to find the top, I'm not in the mood for looking more

Problem is I'm a bit picky. I don't like 100% cotton cardis, I loathe viscose with a burning passion, and I'd rather not wear cashmere - I can't afford the good stuff (I already checked the Brora sale) and the cheap stuff just bobbles when you look t it funny. A blend including some viscose, cotton, or cashmere would be ok though.

I also want something on the green-blue-purple-red spectrum. And long sleeves.

Suggestions of places to look? Hopefully I can find something a bit woolly but nice and on sale. :)

OK. I had almost the same dilemma (Except needed different colours than you). I settled on Boden crop tie cardi after spending untold hours online and in shops trying to find the right solution. If you haven't already check it out.

Also I'm a 14-16 and ordered the 14. I am shorter though 5'6".

Hush? Nice cocoon cardi on there, might be a bit casual though.

Woolovers do a cotton silk blend in every colour under the sun usually.
Otherwise Gap have some luxlight cotton/silk/ nylon ones. I have the jumper version and it's nice and soft.

Thanks everyone, I'll check those out! Also found Hobbs do interesting blends featuring wool or silk.
