Maxi dress. Good style. Lovely in black but the iris is a different colour than how it appears online and not in a good way. Can be sized down for a more streamlined look.

Cropped cardigans - the cotton mix ones are great this year.

Black boatneck- really well cut and comfortable. A little gem this one.

Long sleeve Breton- I liked the cut of this. Seems a good, thick material too. I went for the ivory/navy.

These weren't great- patent flip-flops, huge and nasty looking. Rough between the toes too- like cheese wire.

I didn't like the short sleeve Breton. The cap style sleeve didn't work with the boxy high neck cut. I didn't like how the stripes were placed. It looked a bit odd.

I have a cropped cardigan. It seems too bright at the moment, but may be nice in the summer.

d1 and dd2 have a Johnnie B dress each. The print one with little fold down collar at the front and the navy broderie one. Both gorgeous!

I have just my silver sandals through and I'm impressed. They look really beautiful on, are cushioned and support the foot. They are plenty wide enough too. These ones seem to be true to size.

Has anyone bought the tan tote or Breton tunic?

greyvix what colour did you get?

The only one I didn't like was the grey one. It was grey marl (heave) with a very light pink trim. The pink and red/orange ones are bright but since I wear black a lot they lift it a bit and look a bit more toned down with the black IYSWIM.

After feeling that Boden weren't really for me anymore I have to say there has been some improvement.

Oooh - not much action on this thread, and historically a Boden thread got lots of responses.

Do you think people are skint, 'over' Boden, or not yet thinking about summer?

Sniggers at earlybird name and idea that it is premature to be thinking about summer....

I know WHERE is everybody? Is it the case that people get slated on here if they mention Boden and that might be putting them off?

I had a look the other day and there is absolutely nothing I would consider apart from those two tone pointed flats in nude/black. Due to the long wait time I won't even bother ordering unless a cracking code comes along. Everything else looks a bit.... Frumpy. Or almost right but not quite? Also ruinously expensive, IMO.

Boden clothes are not cut for my figure, I've never kept anything from there for me. Love it for the DCs though

Bits I considered were the lace top, but will def be too short on me; the crochet jacket, but so expensive and reviews v poor, plus cut looks a bit weird. Linen tees, again too short for me at 5'9. Boho boots, heel wrong colour and more expensive than ash jalouse in sales so why would you??

I really think Boden need an overhaul. Or maybe I'm not their target market.

Okay here goes....

Summer chinos- jury still out. They are much smaller fit than some I had 2 years ago- tired my old ones and it's not me that is fatter! Might keep but would need to lose 2lbs so they are comfy .

Bow dress- slightly odd fit - 10 too big so may try 8 in navy.

Sandals- the cork wedgies are lovely and fit my skinny feet.

Looking at the Retro Pocket Dress in navy- might order. Bit annoyed that navy ( or white) is the only plain colour in many of their dresses if you don't want prints.

Distinctly underwhelmed by all knitwear, T shirts and trousers- same old, same old.

Agreed apart from the cropped cardigans the knitwear is dire.

I liked the idea of those wedgies. Are they hard to walk in?

I know what you mean about the lack of good plain colours. I only wear stripes by way of a pattern otherwise it's plain all the way for me.

I do wish they would do better true red shoes rather than this soft red nonsense.

I bought the skirt and top as I thought they looked lovely together in the picture. Skirt is completely different colour, dull red and cheap looking and top is so thin that everything underneath is visible. Oh and they clash rather than matching like they do in the photo //www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Skirts/Above-Knee-Skirts/WG471/womens-Printed-Jersey-Skirt.html?NavGroupID=13

On the other hand the essential vest which I ordered in blue with white spots fits well ( size down rather than up if you are in between) and the t-shirt material is very good quality for the price particularly with 15% off. I may well order in some different colours, but to be fair, its just a t shirt.

Wedgies are v comfortable- just the right height cos I can't bear high heels.
