Hiy Mrs B

See my thread on dying my hair copper red, there are lots of suggestions from other MNers.

I used L'oreal Feria Mango Copper which came out lovely and didn't knacker my hair, there are some darker true reds in that range too which looked really nice.

Alternatively, if you have a Sally's near you, you could pop in there and ask to see the sample books to get an idea of colours. Works out cheaper in the long run too this way.

A lot of MNers also swear by Henna and depending on how light you want to go this could be an option. Lush's Henna seems to be very popular.

HTH

I have dark brown hair and use Live XXL in Red Passion which gets my hair red like in the pic you posted. I've also used the Live Luminance one which lightens as well as colouring so it's a bit more vibrant, but it was a bit orangey for me.

I swear by the Live Colours though, have used for years. Red does fade v quickly though so it takes a bit of upkeep.
