NAP/Matches/Selfridges VIP invites

I was reading enviously earlier about some MNers already being sent sale preview emails for Net a Porter and wondered what you had to do to be elevated to VIP status for NAP and Matches etc?

I'm well in with My Wardrobe but they are very transparent so I knows the deal.

Spend money basically. I spend quite a lot with Matches (they are in my town) so I get the emails. DH got the Selfridges one as he buys my presents there, but it was crap tbh. NaP I clearly haven't spent enough this season as I am not a chosen one, I will make amends next season.

I got a Selfridges VIP invite. I bought one item for £75 earlier this year from them and that has made me a VIP!!!

Shop with them. I only had Matches this year, but have plenty of clothes so no requirement to shop.

Matches and Selfridges seem to send them willy nilly. NAP - you need to be a big big spender. So not me.

I do MrsCB, but I haven't bought anything from them for ages so I might not get one this year! Which is a shame as I imagine this lovely jumper may be heavily reduced !!

It's interesting about NAP. I've bought a bit there but not had a sniff of VIP, and DH buys quite a lot from Mr Porter but nada. I shall know not to aspire.

The MW discounts make SUCH a difference don't they. It makes me very loyal (in the most fickle of ways ) hence I don't go to Matches and NAP so much. But they do have a better selection so I will maybe try to spread the love to Matches a bit more.

Oh and have Brora changed their cashmere? The last jumper I bought from there bobbled terribly before the bastard bastard moths decimated it and I haven't had that problem in the past.

I got Matches and MW but no NAP (despite buying a few things this year). Probably not an entirely bad thing , much easier to resist full price items!

if anyone is interested, there is a small brora clearance section on their website today. I think it's the gauzy cashmere that bobbles - not sure why!
