In reality will they work? I am thinking for nights out, and Christmas day. I am short, but my legs are in good shape - size 12, but very top heavy 30G norks.

Should I avoid?

If not any particular style and what could I wear on top?

Those Mango ones are lovely. I have a pair from Boden that I would definitely not recommend. They're a lovely aubergine colour but they're not skinny enough and are saggy on the bum. It's only because I'm lazy that I haven't sent them back.
