Did anyone go to the Boden clearance sale in Bisley (Surrey)? What did you buy?

I popped along this morning (Friday) but DS was unwell so I had to lug him along to the sale with me rather than leaving him in Childcare as planned. And of course he didn't want to be there, so I spent a frantic ten minutes rummaging and then had to leave.

I found one pair of cord trousers for DS for £10, which was ok, but nothing else. Not really worth the trip. However others around me had baskets full of stuff.

What? What did they buy? Frankly the £20 Mini Boden coats didn't set my world alight. Yes, they're great quality but I bought DS a good coat from Debenhams for £18 that will last him fine for six months, and at his age (15mo) that's all he needs. (Ok, I know I won't be able to resell it on eBay for what I paid for it, but...)

I love their dresses for DD but I had bought her some for £15 each in the online sale and the stuff at the clearance sale wasn't as nice, but similar prices.

And please, for the love of Johnnie, tell me who dresses their 3yo in a bikini? No wonder there were boxes of those...

I nearly parted with £30 for a jumper for DH but it was literally the last thing in that particular bucket and that just made me think "what's wrong with it?".

I'd love to know if there was better stuff/more of it on Thursday and was it just that I missed the boat by going on the second day?

Sounds a bit disappointing. I'm hoping to make it to the one in Norwich at the end of the month, but I'm not in the market for bikinis for 3yos either!
I'll report back if I do make it the sale...
