Big feet/ Small Build

I have size 8 feet but am petite. I am having huge issues trying to find boots! Because the ones that come up to your calves allow for much bigger calves that I have, if that makes sense? So I have these huge gaps that look ridiculous!

I hate hate hate having such big feet, it wouldn't be so bad if I was taller/bigger build but they look so stupid on me :( Any ideas what to do re the boot situation? Desperate for some winter boots!

I have big feet too - a 42 or 43. It's no fun buying boots and shoes! I have found Spanish made footwear is slimmer of calf, but have no recommendations, sadly.
