Help me find some jeans please

I bought some Asda Great bum jeans last year and they were exactly that.
Thought I'd get another pair yesterday but when I went in their range had changed - I bought a pair of straight leg jeans and when I put them on at home they were a terrible cut - loose fabric at the top inside of the legs jutting out so that it touched in the middle of my thighs, iyswim - they are going back today!

I don't have a huge budget. I'm a size 8/10, 5' 6", I'm 46 and have a bit of a wobbly tummy and quite skinny legs. Waist 28/29"

I would spend up to £45 on the right pair. Cotton drill trousers would also be acceptable - warm and hard wearing.
No skinny jeans as they emphasise my carrot shaped lower profile. no boot legs as I'm over them.

I've just discovered Next's relaxed Skinnies which are more like straight legs and very flattering. I think they're about £40?
