I want a hat for the school run, any suggestions?

Some mornings I'm running a bit late and especially at times like now when I'm due a hair cut, my hair can look pretty atrocious in the morning. I have several baseball caps to cover this, but would like something less casual for the school run. I'm not talking Ascot dinner platters of course, just something for the fall/winter that can cover my head and not make me look like an idiot whilst wearing it. If it makes a difference, I have short blonde hair, so not much will be on show or get bunched up within the hat. Any ideas?

Ha! That's about my average look. Good for keeping the rain off my glasses at least.

That umbrella hat is actually my dream practical hat. I am too self-conscious to wear something like that, as well as loathing hoods and hand-held umbrellas, so am doomed to have frizzy hair.

ElectricSoftParade thanks. I do have my baseball caps for practicality, I'm just looking for something a little more stylish. My New Year's resolution for this year was to try and be even more fabulous and awesome than last year. Today that means I must have a hat.
