Waxing or threading for upper lip?

Can anyone advise as to which I should go for? Never tried either. Had a course of laser treatments a few years ago but it's grown back and, whilst bleaching does an ok job, I'd really love to get it all off again.

How does the hair grow back? Is it stubbly or patchy? And do you have to have a hairy phase before you can have it done again?

I had my eyebrows threaded once and was pleased with the results but ouch, it did smart!

I love threading, it has a cleaner finish, and you don't have to worry about having your face burnt with waxing ( had a bad experience in the past ). It's quick and cheap imo.

I would say threading too, especially if you have at all sensitive skin, waxing in the past has left me with sore red patches (which looked worse and more embarrassing than the hair IMO).

It might smart a bit the first time, but it'll be fine when you're having it done regularly.

Quite quick, but I might just be hairy, I start getting fine hair appearing after a week.

definitely threading. I've done both and think threading is more precise.

Waxing is not great for your lip as it pulls the skin far too harshly..I'd go for threading.

Thanks all - just one more question: does anyone find that having a totally hair-free upper lip area kind of draws attention to the peach fuzz on the rest of your face? Assuming I'm not the only one... I don't exactly have a beard or anything but definitely a tad furrier than I used to be
