Are these Mum boots?

Seen these in a Clarks outlet but in tan, not black.

Would those boots, in tan, qualify as Mum boots, or would they be ok with straight leg jeans?

Not my thing. They're kind of bland.

Not really mine either - OK, but not special. Think Clarks have more interesting designs (eg Norley Cedar, Majorca Villa) but then I prefer a funkier/ bikerish look and not high heels.

But are they Mum boots? I need something with a heel but comfy for casual.

It is a difficult length to wear, slightly shorter is better for an ankle boot. Unless you are going to wear bootcut jeans or trousers over them? Then yes, definitely mum boots.

I think they are minimal and sleek.
You could hide a razor blade in that toe.

Does that help? i think they are mum boots if you wear them with 'mum clothes' (however you define that). I think they are lethal nija boots if you wear them with leather trousers and a studded belt.

I like them (but I hate bows, buttons and pleats).

Thanks all / def wouldn't wear them with boot cuts! Would wear them under rightish trousers without the tops showing. Haven't decided whether to get them yet / they ate only £30 in the outlet
