Haven't been on S&B before. Interview/new job clothes

Probably somewhat presumptuous, but a positive attitude helps in these things, I'm sure.

I'm hoping to have a job interview next week. It's my dream job. It involves meeting clients, county officials and visiting schools. It will also involve some hands on work with children.

Recently, I've been on mat leave or worked in schools wearing their school uniform sweatshirts (ugh). I need to seriously smarten up. I'm scruffy in my personal life too - manky jeans, wellies and waterproof coat type thing (dog and toddler). I don't even have any nice going out clothes.

Can any of you help with an interview outfit, and a four day working wardrobe? One pair of shoes only. Cannot do proper heels. Have very bad feet and comfort counts.

I'm a 10-12, bit of a tummy since pregnancy. If I get the job I can set aside maybe £300 for clothes. Interview outfit needs to be cheap!

I have a nice (but hurty) pair of 'nude' coloured shoes that could be used for the interview. Maybe brown with them? I'm useless at this. By the way I'm 36, probably look a bit younger (mostly due to general air of scruffiness). Want to look professional, mature and efficient for this!

I do have a nice black wool blazer. Would that be okay with the nude shoes? What colours should I look for in a dress? I've got one that's purple with black spots, but guess that won't go with the shoes. A new dress is probably cheaper than new shoes anyway.

Lovely shoes but I'd never walk in them! I like the style of the first dress you linked to. Will have a look and try something similar on to see if the style suits me.
