Advice needed please....
I can never find nice shoes!!! I'm tall with big (7 - 8) feet so avoid heels like the plague, I pretty much live in flip flops from April but every year I vow to find nice, water proof shoes/boots and I'm still searching! I don't want heels but I want something that looks good with skinnies aswell as normal jeans, do the exists!? I've got 2 year old cardi uggs but they're only good for dry days and quite frankly I'm bored of them now, so any suggestions would be awesome coz I'm stuck! (and clearly rubbish at shoe shopping)

ooh I'm going to watch this, I don't want heels (still running after a toddler all day and it's too much work to do that in heels ) but i want something to stop my feet getting wet on the school run!

They are not gonna be everyones cup of tea but I have a pair of Doc Martens phoenix jara boots and they are great. They are really comfy but a bit biker looking but I love them. They get lots of compliments too. The leather is soft but they have been hardwearing and cope in all weather.

Can't link as on my phone.

I bought these today from Clarks. I've got a few pairs of smarter boots with leather soles, but find they're no good for running round playgrounds after small children in! These are super comfy, easy to pull on and off, have a grippy rubber sole and look great I think. (Probably better in RL than they look online.) I was wearing houlihans today and they looked good so think they'd work with any casual skinny trouser.

I'm the same shoe size as you. in the winter i wear my trusted military boots. if i'm wearing skinny jeans i tuck them in, and if i'm wearing normal/bootcut/flared they still look nice!

i actually got mine from topman Blush but to be fair they are lovely quality and they were down to a tenner. i'd pay MUCH more for them..so comfy!

mine look similar to this

i also think a pair of biker boots would look nice

I googled the doc martins and they are lush!! Liking the other suggestions too, I normally struggle with boots being too big/loose around the leg and then I just look like a muppet!

I must admit I was really excited when the weather cooled down last week and I could get them out again Biggem. The leather looks so soft I expected it mark terribly but last years pair that were worn in all weathers still look like new and typically for docs haven't worn at all. They are a pain in arse to buckle up every time but make me happy every time I finally get them on!
