WARM stuff

right, i live in a drafty victorian flat and i am majorly cold blooded. This evening, I've already had to put on thermal socks and am sitting with a blanket over my knee and my adored travelwrap over my shoulders. Obv i could just put the heating on but i'd rather (a) use it as an excuse to go shopping and (b) If i get nice stuff, i can wear it out and about.

So i'm looking for nice warm slouchy dresses/tops, preferably in natural fabrics. Has anyone got any recommendations? Is hush stuff good quality? Also i have been dithering about sheepskin boots - the past few years i have gone for cheapo new look pairs but i'm toying sith buying a dexent oair. I only ever wear them as slippers and to the corner shop so don't want to spend tons of cash.

Real sheepskin is the bollocks for keeping warm. Very clever stuff

Watching for warm slouchy dresses. They sound lush if they exist! Grin

Agree with sheepskin boot slipper things. I bought ones with no soles so I would NEVER be tempted to go out in them, no matter how comfy and cosy they are Grin

Also, look at the White Company for poncho thingies

Oooh MP, i like the kiwi boots and they are Much more reasonable than the crazy money Ugg jobs. I might go for real soles, as i do go to the bins, recycling etc. in them but completely understand the rationale behind soft soles! Grin had to do some complex leg measurement to make sure calves aren't too fat (see previous biker boot thread!) but I think i'm in the clear on that front.

Will check out white co, i bought a fab dressing gown last year in a dirty pink colour, which makes mornings so much better! So nice to have things not in black or white. I am currently on a black ban which is working well.

I like this and sloppy joe dress although the last one is a bit polyester.

Move house. Your flat sounds terrible

LOL, thanks for that Hall. I'm looking to spend money but not that much!

I have been to Uniqlo and got 2 heat tech scoop neck tops, they seem lovely. Come up small though. One is a sort of nudey-pink and the other a deep purple. Nice and fine and good for layering.

I am still contemplating ugg-alikes.
