Help! Need to channel Nashville.

I'm off to see Dolly Parton next week. Friend who booked tickets is doing the whole gingham and stetson thing in hommage to La Parton but I'm not so sure. But, I don't want to be a grinch and not make any kind of effort.

So, I need your help. I'm a 16 and 42 and have so far thought of washed out denim skirt and some kind of checked shrt as there's lots of that in the shops.

What do you stylish ladies think? Any suggestions.
