Trying to find a "chief case" (a power dressing briefcase for work)!

I'm looking for a stylish briefcase for work - something that will make me feel awesome and that has lots of pockets.

All suggestions welcome! I haven't decided on a budget yet, probably £50 or so but could stretch for the right one.

TIA

Hmmm £50???? You are joking, right? Don't think you will pick anything up at that price point that falls into the 'power dressing' category.

If you want beautiful classic and understated briefcase that hits the power button then I would recommend The Bridge - but you will need to add a zero to your budget.

TK Maxx often have lovely Mandarina Duck laptop bags for around 50 quid which might fit your bill! If you are power dressing, please bear in mind that your briefcase needs to be thin, thus implying that you delegate everything except the most important stuff. Grin

I asked my PA to order me a new laptop bag, assuming she would know the sort of thing I wanted/needed - ie much the same as the last one with a broken handle. I ended up with a fucking sports rucksack with a bright yellow trim...

I would also avoid lots of pockets as I think this can make it look like a changing bag/bag where you need to hide lots of bibs and bobs for small children. Go for sleek. So sleek that it purrs when you stroke it.

Ooh the Visconti ones are just what I was looking for, thanks bestmate.

Schadenfreude I had a look in TK Maxx the other day and unfortunately there was nothing along the lines of the rather beautiful Mandarina Duck. I will keep my eyes peeled in future.

Oh, and yy to so sleek it purrs! That is exactly what a chiefcase should do.

Ebay? Quality bags that are 'broken in' can say so much more about the owner than something sparkly new.
